The Romanian Librarians Association (ABR – https://abr-ro.ro/), in collaboration with The University Library of Oradea, The “Gheorghe Sincai” County Library, The Bihor Teaching Staff House and their partners have the high pleasure of inviting you to participate to the 35th anniversary edition of THE NATIONAL CONFERENCE OF THE ROMANIAN LIBRARY ASSOCIATION, with the title “LIBRARY – INNOVATION, ACCESSIBILITY, COMMUNICATION”. The Conference will take place between 2nd – 5th of September 2025 in Oradea, Romania. The Official Opening will be held on September 3rd 2025, in the Assembly Hall of The University Library in Oradea.
This scientific event aims to provide a meeting place for the theorists and practitioners, both from the country and abroad, to debate common problems and identify solutions, highlighting, equally, the achievements of the profession and the evolution of the field. This is also a great opportunity to bring together important educational and cultural institutions – libraries, museums, universities, etc., as well as other organizations with impact at the local or national level. The National Conference of ABR will take place in a hybrid format and will benefit from a registration platform, containing all the required information.
The Conference will be preceded on 2nd September by the official opening of a network of 30 libraries from Bihor County, modernized to become hubs of digital skills development. The event is organized by Softlink Central Europe, in partnership with „Gheorghe Șincai” County Library and the County Council Bihor. At the event will participate central and local government officials, cultural and scientific personalities, business representatives and library managers from Romania and abroad. The agenda and details of the event will be published by the organizers.
